One poker night gives you a winner. A season gives the whole group something to follow: the early leader, the quiet comeback, and the friend who suddenly needs a good result in the final round.

Club seasons brings that longer story to your private pokr club. Plan six Sit & Go rounds across eight weeks, see who is coming, and follow a shared table of results. Each player’s best five scores count, leaving room for a missed evening or a game they would rather forget.

A little structure for the people you already play with

A season sits inside an existing private club. It gives your group a calendar, attendance responses and standings in one place. You still play at your club’s tables, with the same friends and virtual chips.

The format is fixed: six rounds within a 56-day season. Those extra weeks give you room to spread the games out. For example, play the first three Fridays, take a week off, then return for the final three rounds. The dates belong to your group; they do not have to follow a weekly rhythm.

Each round has a title and scheduled start time. Members can choose Going, Maybe or Cannot make it before it starts, and open Who’s coming? to see the replies. Times are displayed in each player’s local time zone, which helps when the old home-game group now lives in different cities.

Rounds use Sit & Go tournaments, where everyone has a finishing place. Cash games do not contribute to season standings. If your group is choosing a format for the first time, our cash versus tournament guide explains how the two evenings feel.

Every finish adds to the story

Season points come from your finishing place among the human players in a round. A first place is worth 10 points, a second 7, and a third 5. The full scale is:

Points per round, by human finishing place
Place1st2nd3rd4th5th6th7th–9th
Points10754321 each

Only your best five results out of six go into your total. Play every round and your lowest score is dropped. Miss one evening and you can still put together five counting results.

A worked example

Six nights. Five counting scores.

  1. Round 110Counted
  2. Round 27Counted
  3. Round 33Dropped
  4. Round 45Counted
  5. Round 54Counted
  6. Round 67Counted
10 + 7 + 5 + 4 + 733 points
Illustrative results for one player. The three-point finish remains visible in the standings, crossed out, but does not contribute to the total.

If players finish on equal points, the season compares their number of wins, then their number of second places, among their counted rounds. If they are still level, they share the same rank.

Bots do not appear in the season standings or take points away from people. If a bot finishes first and you are the highest-finishing human, you receive the human first-place score of 10 points. A qualifying tournament must still include at least two human players.

From “same time next week?” to round one

Start in your club, open Club activities, then select Explore under Club season. The owner or a manager sets up the season; every active member can help fund it.

  1. Plan a season. Choose a name and first day, then select Create draft. Planning the draft is free. Pick a start date on or before your first tournament: the eight-week window runs from that date, not from the day someone pays.
  2. Unlock it for the club. Any active member can make the one-time purchase. Everyone in the club gets access to that season’s schedule, RSVPs and standings.
  3. Put the rounds on the calendar. The owner or a manager uses Schedule round to set each title and start time within the season. Members can then respond with their availability.
  4. Play a Sit & Go. Start it in the same club, at or after the round’s scheduled time. At least two humans must take part. Scheduling a round does not start a tournament or reserve seats.
  5. Attach the finished results. After the tournament ends, the owner or a manager chooses Attach tournament results for that round, selects the correct run and confirms. pokr then calculates the points and updates the standings.

Check the tournament before confirming. Results are attached by a club owner or manager, rather than imported automatically. Each tournament can count only once, and attached results are final. Finish the rounds and attach their results before the season’s end date.

Keep the rivalry friendly

A good first season needs an achievable schedule. Ask when people can actually play before setting the dates. Six relaxed evenings that happen are more fun than six ambitious plans that keep moving.

Agree on a familiar tournament setup, too. Using similar starting stacks and blind structures each round makes it easier for the group to settle into a routine. The season tracks finishing places, so raising the stakes does not earn extra season points.

Give each evening a little identity: “Opening night,” “The comeback round,” or “Friday’s final.” Watch the standings together after a result is attached. The pleasure is in seeing the small stories develop over several games, including the ones nobody predicted in round one.

One purchase for the whole club

Club season

$9.99 USD

One season · eight weeks
For the whole club
No subscription or automatic renewal

This is a one-time purchase through Xsolla for a particular season in a particular club. Members do not each need to buy access. The person who pays does not gain owner or manager permissions; organising rounds and attaching results remain staff responsibilities. Xsolla shows applicable taxes and the final total before you pay.

When the eight weeks end, the schedule and final standings remain available to club members as a read-only archive. Another season is a new draft and a separate purchase, so the group decides when it wants to play again.

Regular poker games remain free to play. Club seasons adds organisation and a shared competition across those games. The game uses virtual chips with no cash value or cash-out; season points also have no cash value.

A few useful details

Do I need to RSVP to score points?

No. RSVPs help the group plan. Points come from the attached tournament results, not from choosing Going on the calendar.

Can we change a round’s date?

An owner or manager can edit an upcoming, unfinished round while the season is editable, keeping its date inside the season window. Attached final results cannot be replaced.

Can we use different tables for different rounds?

Yes. A qualifying completed Sit & Go can come from any table in the same club. Choose the correct tournament run when attaching each round’s results.

What if someone misses the final night?

Their earlier results remain in the standings. Up to five of their best scores count; players do not have to attend the final round to keep the points they have already earned.
